Party Ideas - Tea Party Luncheon

Simple sandwiches work best for your party.  Peanut butter and jelly or sliced turkey and cheese sandwiches are favorites for most young girls. Stamp the sandwiches out with the teapot cookie cutter for a festive party look.

Scones, teapot shaped sugar cookies, small slices of decorated cake, or any favorite dessert add to a pretty party. Scone mix can be purchased at most grocery stores and scones add an authentic treat to any tea party. Cake mix baked in the mini size party cups or muffin tins work well for fancy desserts. Frost them with your favorite frosting and add colored sprinkles to add a festive touch.  Fresh cut fruit completes the party menu.

We include Raspberry & White Decaf Tea for those who like to drink tea; however, alternatives to tea are lemonade, apple juice, and white grape juice. All drinks taste best when served in a teapot.

Decorated sugar cubes are fun and a welcome addition to the party. The girls enjoy stirring them in their tea with their fancy gold demitasse spoons.

You do not need to serve sandwiches for an afternoon tea.

Scones, teapot sugar cookies, decorated cakes, or a favorite dessert works well in the afternoon.  Your special guest may request a favorite dessert that is dear to her heart.  The tea and tea alternatives work the same as the luncheon menu.  Fresh fruit is always a welcome addition to your menu.
